Privacy Policy

Prelaunch prototype notice: Draytz Origami is a prelaunch product and this site is currently a working prototype. The early-access signup form is in demo mode: submissions are validated in your browser but are not currently transmitted, stored, or processed anywhere. This policy describes how your information will be handled once the site's live signup pipeline is connected, and will be reviewed and finalised before that happens. Items still needing confirmation are marked like this.

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Phosfer Pty Ltd (ABN 61 674 953 201), trading as Draytz ("Draytz Origami", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information gathered through draytz.com (this "Site"). It applies to visitors and to anyone who submits information via the prelaunch early-access form.

Draytz Origami is based at QUT Foundry, 2 George St, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia. We aim to handle personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

The early-access signup form is the only place this Site currently asks you for information. Depending on what you choose to fill in, that can include:

We may also automatically receive standard technical information common to any website visit (such as approximate location inferred from IP address, browser type, and pages viewed) via our hosting provider's server logs. The Site does not currently run any analytics or advertising tracking scripts, and does not set any tracking or advertising cookies — see "Cookies" below.

3. How we use your information

To send prelaunch updates, early-access offers, and launch pricing details to people who've opted in.
To understand overall interest and demand across product modes, finishes, and vehicle types (in aggregate — we don't use this to build individual profiles beyond what's needed to run the mailing list).
To respond if you contact us directly.
To detect and prevent spam or automated submissions (the form includes a hidden honeypot field that real visitors never see or fill in).

We only send marketing emails to people who've ticked the consent checkbox, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

A mailing-list or CRM platform we use to send prelaunch emails (provider to be confirmed) — solely to operate that mailing list.
Service providers who host or support this Site (e.g. our hosting/CDN provider), solely to operate it.
Anyone else, only if required by law or to protect our rights.

Draytz Origami's manufacturing and research partners named elsewhere on this Site (QUT Entrepreneurship, Morpho, Prelaunch.com) do not receive personal information submitted through this form unless you contact them directly yourselves.

5. Data storage and security

Once the signup pipeline is live, submitted information will be stored with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the kind of information collected (an email marketing list, not financial or health data). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

We intend to retain prelaunch signup information for retention period to be confirmed, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever comes first.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you;
correct information that's inaccurate or out of date;
delete your information or unsubscribe you from marketing emails; or
explain how we've used your information.

To do any of this, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

7. Cookies and tracking

This Site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or a cookie/consent banner in future (noted as a known gap in the site's own build notes), we'll update this policy first and provide the relevant consent controls.

8. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

9. International visitors

This Site may be accessed from outside Australia and is served via a global content delivery network, which can mean data passing through servers in other countries in transit. Any personal information you submit is principally handled in Australia.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, particularly as the Site moves from prototype to a live product. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
