Privacy Policy

1. Who this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains how Phosfer Pty Ltd (ABN 61 674 953 201), trading as Draytz ("Draytz Origami", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information gathered through draytz.com (this "Site"). It applies to visitors and to anyone who submits information via the prelaunch early-access form.

Draytz Origami is based at QUT Foundry, 2 George St, Brisbane QLD 4000, Australia. We aim to handle personal information in a manner consistent with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

2. Information we collect

The early-access signup form is the only place this Site currently asks you for information. All fields shown on the form are required to join the mailing list:

With each signup we store approximate country, region, city and timezone supplied by Cloudflare, inferred device type, browser and operating system, the signup form used, and campaign parameters (UTM tags) in the page URL. These help us understand our audience and which campaigns generate interest. Location and device information can be inaccurate or unavailable. We do not store the full IP address with signup records or request GPS location. Our hosting provider may process IP addresses in its operational logs. We do not set tracking or advertising cookies.

3. How we use your information

To send product and launch updates, early-access offers, and launch pricing details to people who've opted in.
To understand overall interest and demand across product modes, finishes, and vehicle types (in aggregate; we don't use this to build individual profiles beyond what's needed to run the mailing list).
To respond if you contact us directly.
To detect and prevent spam or automated submissions (the form includes a hidden honeypot field that real visitors never see or fill in).

We only send marketing emails to people who've ticked the consent checkbox, and every marketing email will include a way to unsubscribe.

4. Sharing your information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

Brevo, our contact management and email platform, to operate our product and launch mailing list.
Cloudflare (hosting and request processing), solely to operate signup collection and this Site.
Anyone else, only if required by law or to protect our rights.

Draytz Origami's manufacturing and research partners named elsewhere on this Site (QUT Entrepreneurship, Morpho, Prelaunch.com) do not receive personal information submitted through this form unless you contact them directly yourselves.

5. Data storage and security

Submitted information is stored in Brevo and processed through Cloudflare, with reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the kind of information collected (an email marketing list, not financial or health data). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

We retain your contact details while you remain subscribed to Draytz product and launch updates and the mailing list continues to serve that purpose. You can unsubscribe at any time or request deletion of your information.

Unsubscribing stops marketing emails; it does not automatically delete your contact record. After you unsubscribe or request deletion, we retain only limited records needed to honour your unsubscribe preference, demonstrate consent or meet legal obligations. If we discontinue the project and mailing list, we delete or anonymise personal information we no longer need.

6. Your rights

You can ask us to:

tell you what information we hold about you;
correct information that's inaccurate or out of date;
delete your information or unsubscribe you from marketing emails; or
explain how we've used your information.

To do any of this, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

7. Cookies and tracking

Videos use YouTube privacy-enhanced embeds. We show locally hosted poster images and contact YouTube only when you choose to play a video. Playback connects to Google/YouTube, which may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details and use cookies or local storage under its own policies. You can also open each video directly on YouTube.

Apart from optional YouTube playback described above, this Site does not currently use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. If we add analytics or a cookie/consent banner in future, we'll update this policy first and provide the relevant consent controls.

8. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.

9. International visitors

We operate from Australia, but Brevo and Cloudflare are overseas service providers and may process or store personal information outside Australia. Cloudflare operates a global network, so information may pass through or be processed in multiple countries. Information handled by these providers is subject to their applicable privacy policies and data processing terms. You can contact us to ask about the providers we use and how they handle your information.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, particularly as the Site moves from prototype to a live product. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
